GivingCircle+
At a time when the world is in need of deep repair, Slingshot is mobilizing young philanthropists to leverage their skills and talents to make an impact on the most critical issues of our time.
Current GivingCircle+ | Jewish Joy!
The Slingshot GivingCircle+ on Jewish Joy is now seeking proposals that elevate and embed Jewish joy at every level within organizations. We are particularly interested in initiatives that expand access to joy for diverse and underserved populations, defined as individuals and communities who face barriers to engaging in Jewish life and experiencing Jewish joy. These barriers may include, but are not limited to, geographic, economic, social, or physical factors. Strong proposals will actively work to reduce these barriers while creating spaces where individuals see themselves authentically reflected. This work should deepen a sense of belonging at the intersection of inclusion, representation, and meaningful Jewish connection. Applications are due by Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, by 5PM PST. Access the RFP here.
In a moment when the world can feel heavy and uncertain, our giving circle is choosing to hold tight to something deeply Jewish: joy. Coming together to celebrate Jewish life, community, and generosity is not an escape, it’s an act of resilience. By supporting one another and lifting up the values we cherish, we’re creating a space where our collective action brings light into a complicated world.

Our last GivingCircle+ focused on Anti-Semitism. To read about our experience and the organizations the group funded, click here.
The needs are so great and we couldn’t meet every single one of them. There is no wrong investment in addressing antisemitism. To that end, here is a list of organizations that responded to our RFP and are still seeking funding.
Additional GivingCircle+ opportunities will be announced soon!
We will share opportunities to join new action circles or how you can start your own.
