SketchPad

Many Jewish professionals who work independently struggle to find connection and camaraderie with like-minded peers. But SketchPad is changing the narrative around how Jewish nonprofits and professionals are working together. SketchPad is an intentionally Jewish workspace community founded on shared Jewish values such as inclusivity, environmentalism and hachnasat orchim, or radical hospitality. 

In a world where there is an “us versus them” outlook on nearly every topic, SketchPad offers an oasis for people to find joy, support, understanding, and an open community where everyone is welcome -- around the coffee pot and in the boardroom. SketchPad members see themselves not as competitors, but partners in building a vibrant and engaged Jewish community. The SketchPad community marks the Jewish calendar communally and offers regular Jewish learning opportunities to support its professionals in grounding their work in Jewish wisdom. 

SketchPad also serves as a nexus for Jewish professionals to easily collaborate and plug into events, organizations, and Jewish communal opportunities that they wouldn’t otherwise know about. At a time when Jewish professionals feel increasingly disconnected or lonely, SketchPad is bringing them together. As one Jewish communal professional shared, “Sketchpad enables me to be the most productive worker I can be. When I feel stuck, instead of trying to email or call or message coworkers around the country, I often pick my head up from my computer and find a colleague with an answer.”
